This guide is for installation partners who need to connect a newly installed home charger to a driver's Northe account.

Before you start
Make sure you have the following:
- The customer's email address
- The customer's Fleet Member ID (shared by the fleet partner)
- The Partner Key
Partner Key note: The Partner Key is provided by the Northe team when you are an approved installation partner.
Start the charge box installation flow
Open https://northe.app/activate.
Use this page to activate the newly installed charge box by linking it to the customer's Northe account.
Enter the following information:
- Customer's email address
- Customer's Fleet Member ID
- Partner Key
Step 1: Add new charge box - Type
After logging in, you will be taken to the Add a new charge box form.
Complete the charger setup by filling in the required details.
In this section, you can:
- Set or update the charge box name
- Select the correct charger brand
- Select the correct charger model
Step 2: Add new charge box - Site
Create the charging site using the customer's home address.
Please make sure the address is correct, as this defines the location of the home charger.
Step 3: Add new charge box - Connect
Connect the charge box by entering the charger's serial number.
Please make sure you enter the correct serial number. Northe uses the serial number to link the charger to the driver's account. If the wrong serial number is entered, the charger cannot be connected successfully and will remain offline in the app.

NOTE! Do not activate the stand-alone mode, as it may affect the connection to Northe and result in the charging session not being registered for reimbursement.
Installers can complete the activation flow, but they currently cannot independently verify in the product whether the charger is online after setup. If online status needs to be confirmed, the driver must check it in the app.
