To connect your charge box to your Northe account, follow the instructions below:
1. Log in to your Northe account in the app.
Log in to your Northe account in the app. Enter your email address and password.
If this is your first time logging in, your password will default to your fleet member ID, but you can also reset your password and create a new one.
2. Go to Settings
Once you are logged in to your Northe account, go to Settings and then Home Charging.
3. Add a new charge box
Once you have clicked on Home Charging, click on 'New xharge box' to add your charge box.
4. Enter the details of your charge box.
In this step, enter the following details:
- Name of your charge box (you can add your own name or leave the default one).
- Model of your charge box (select your model from the drop-down list).
- Your home address (enter the address where your charge box is located)
- Serial number (enter the serial number of your charge box)
When you have filled in all the details, click on 'Connect charge box'.
5. Connect your bank account
To start charging on your charge box and get reimbursed, you also need to connect your bank account. If you don't connect your bank account, you won't be able to charge your vehicle.
Click on ‘Connect bank account’ and select your preferred method of adding your bank account. Click on Continue and follow the steps to connect your bank account.
You can add your bank account in two ways:
- Brite bank account selector: You can use our partner Brite’s secure and easy-to-use interface for selecting a bank account. Currently, this feature is only available in Sweden and Denmark. You can learn more about Brite here.
- Manual entry: Enter your bank account details manually with our secure form. You will need the account holder’s first name and last name, clearing number and account number.
You're all set!
Your charge box is fully configured and ready to charge your vehicle.
To start charging, you need to initiate the charging via Northe (from the app or with your charge key). It is not possible to use other third-party apps, such as Zaptec or Easee.
Simply select your home charge box from the main screen and ensure you're selecting the correct profile, Business or Private/Guest, before you start a session.
