Guide: Disconnect Your Charger from Northe’s System (Zaptec)
Step 1 – Disconnect in the Zaptec Portal
- Log in at portal.zaptec.com.
- Go to the Installations tab and select your charger.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Go to the Authentication section.
- Change from OCPP 1.6J cloud to Zaptec.

Depending on how you want to control your charging: Enable or disable ‘Authorization required’:
- When enabled, charging must be started via the Zaptec app or using an RFID tag/charging card.
- When disabled, charging starts automatically when the cable is connected, without any authorization.
- Click Save.
Your charger is now disconnected from Northe’s system. Charging is managed directly through Zaptec, and no charging data will be recorded by Northe going forward.
Step 2 – Remove the Charger from the Northe App
- Log in to the Northe app.
- Go to Settings → Home Charging and select your charger.
- Click Delete to remove the charger from your account.
