Enhance Your Account Security with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
At Northe, we’re committed to creating a secure environment for our partners. To help protect your account and fleet data, you can now enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.
What is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-factor authentication (also known as multi-factor authentication or MFA) adds an extra layer of protection to your account by requiring two forms of verification:
- Something you know – your password
- Something you have – your mobile device
This ensures that even if your password is compromised, unauthorized access is prevented.
How It Works
Once 2FA is enabled on your account, you’ll need to complete two steps when logging in:
- Enter your email and password
- Verify your identity using a one-time code sent via SMS to your mobile device
This process helps safeguard your account against unauthorized access and adds peace of mind when managing your fleet.
To enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):
- Click on your Name in the bottom left corner and select Settings.
- Go to the Security tab and click on the Enable two-factor authentication button.
- Enter your phone number and click Continue. You'll then receive a verification code via SMS.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code sent via SMS, and click the Enable button.
Two-factor Authentication is now enabled.
To disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):
- To disable your 2FA, click on your Name in the bottom left corner and select Settings.
- Go to the Security tab and click on the Disable two-factor authentication button.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code sent via SMS, and click the Disable button.
Two-factor Authentication is now disabled.
