Connecting a Zaptec Charger to Northe
1. Give Northe permission to access your charger
This is normally performed during the installation of the charge box however if it is not, then the driver can connect their own charger.
Step 1: Click on this link

Step 2: Login to your Zaptec account
Step 3: Update charger permissions
Navigate from the Dashboard to the Installations page and a select a charger from the list.
Once you've selected a charger, navigate to the Permissions tab.
Click on the 'Give permission' button.
In the add permission section, go to the Partner tab and lookup 'Y8TU' and select 'Northe API', then click Next.
Choose user roles, by selecting both Owner & Service and then click Next.
Click Save to give Northe permission to access your charger.
Your charger is now connected to Northe.
2. Add the connected charger to a Northe account (For installers).

Step 1. Go to northe.app/activate
Activate a newly installed charge box for the customer in their Northe account at https://northe.app/activate.
Step 2. Scan the customer’s QR code or login with the users’ email and fleet member ID
If you are with the customer, please ask them to log into the Northe app and scan the QR code in Step 1.
The user will need to go to the Settings tab, and then click 'Linked devises', this will open a QR code scanner for the customer to scan the code.
If the customer is not present, or you need to sign in without a QR code. You can sign in by entering the customer’s email and fleet member ID and the Partner key that you received from the charge box seller.
3. Add and connect the charge box
After logging in, you will be taken to the 'Add a new charge box' form where you can enter all of the details to add a charge box.
Step 1: Type
Here you can change the charge box name and select the brand & model.
Step 2: Charge Site and Reimbursement
Here you can create a charge site. If the customer’s fleet has a reimbursement limit, the customer will default to this.
Step 3: Connect bank account
Here you can enter your bank account details for reimbursements. To start charging on your home charge box and receiving reimbursements, you must connect your bank account. You can skip this step and come back to it later in your User Settings or you can set it up in the Northe app as well. If you do not connect your bank account you will not be able to charge your car.
Step 4: Connect Charge Box
Here you can enter the details to connect the charge box. For example, for Zaptec Go you can enter the serial number of the charge box.
4. Finish setup
If the connection is successful, you will see a success screen similar to the screenshot below. Click on “FINISH SETUP” to log out and the customer will be able to charge their electric vehicle!
