A Billing Account in the Northe app is a powerful tool that helps you manage and track your charging expenses more efficiently. Think of it as having multiple accounts under your bank—each serving a different purpose. A Billing Account can be created by you or someone else, such as your employer, to separate work-related and personal charging costs.
How Do Billing Accounts Work?
On your Northe account, you will have two billing profiles that you can easily switch between, depending on whether you're charging for work or personal use:
1. Business Profile
Use this profile when charging for work-related purposes.
If your company or leasing provider has issued you a charge key, it should be added to this profile.
If you have a home charger connected to Northe, any home charging registered under this profile will be reimbursed by your employer.
2. Private / Guest Profile
Use this profile for personal or guest charging.
Ideal for private vehicles or if guests need to use your home charger.
You can order a charge key directly in the app and register it under this profile.
By managing your charging costs with separate profiles, you ensure seamless expense tracking and reimbursement where applicable.
